Karen Tong-Bregman

Karen Tong-Bregman earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications at University of California, San Diego, in 1986, her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling for the Deaf at San Diego University in 1992, and graduated with honors and an award for “Highest Grade in Legal Research” from USD’s Paralegal Training Program in 2000; that same year she chaired Deaf Community Services of San Diego. She works as an independent-contractor paralegal specializing in criminal law, family law, immigration law, disability law, and legal research. She is also a mediator with Legal Aid Society of San Diego’s Pro Bono Program, and has been honored for her work with deaf and hard-of-hearing clients.
